When the Dutch environmental research laboratory ALcontrol became part of the European company Synlab, they asked me to make an animated introduction they could use to introduce their new colleagues to the work they do.
They already had a rough idea of what they wanted to tell, which provided me with a great starting point for developing the script and storyboard. Once everything was set, the production of the animation and sound was a lot of fun. Because of the chosen style it finally gave me a reason to fully embrace vector animation within After Effects, something that was pretty new and exciting for me personally. The great voice over work was once again done by the talented Philip Brett King.
